Notes
Primary trail to beach leaves from SE corner of parking lot. No parking any time on Palos Verdes Dr. Auto gate open hours vary with season. Phone: 310-377-1222. Park use is restricted to daylight hours. Vending machines in entrance building. Picnic area - no fireplaces
5. Park contains numerous dirt trails - some difficult
6. From December to April, migrating grey whales may be seen offshore. Dolphins- harbor seals- cormorants and pelicans are common
7. Viewpoint turnout on Palos Verdes Dr. features historical plaques
8. Sandy beach by lifeguard tower is exposed only at low tide. Outdoor fresh water shower nearby
9. Upcoast coastline is rocky - difficult walking
