Notes

The El Granada Beach, formerly a wide sandy beach popular with visitors, was the victim of marina development. When the breakwaters were built, the ocean currents that delivered sand to the beach were diverted offshore. The beach has been lost to erosion, and the bluff is now armored with riprap.
