The "crown jewel" of RPV parks is the Point Vicente Interpretive Center. Located next to the lighthouse of the same name this facility offers tours on seafaring history- shoreline ecology and the gray whale. The American Cetacean Society takes its annual census of the gray whales here.
Opening of the new Interpretive Center - under construction - opening scheduled for June 2006.
Lighthouse is open to the public 1-3:30 PM on the first Saturday of each month.
