This beautiful park is truly a 'Refugio' with a creek and oasis in the backbeach. Camping and enroute camps are very nice, and the Aviso Trail leads south to El Capitan State Beach.

A nice oasis and palm trees cool the campgrounds on the beach.
A sandy beach for visitors offers a good view of the surfers offshore.
The Aviso Hike and Bike Trail starts near the entrance to the campground.
