Notes
Spectacular views of the coastline and Santa Catalina Island (on clear days) from the grassy bluffs. Site of the Korean Friendship Bell; children's play area, basketball court, soccer field and recreation center. Olympic-sized swimming pool is open July through August.
Fort MacArthur Military Museum is housed in a former gun implacement bunker (see below photo legend). The Marine Mammal Care Center is a hospital for sick and injured seals and sea lions. Open daily 8am - 4pm. Free.
