Notes

Two sand swimming beaches: ocean side with surf and harbor side - no surf. Picnic areas, volleyball and children's playground. In spring about twice a month, grunion (small silvery fish) emerge from the water to lay their eggs in the sand under a full or new moon--they must be taken by hand. Bathhouse & community room. Free entrance and parking during winter months. Boat launch ramp & dock (E381009; N3731102). Upcoast is rocky & difficult walking. Extensive tidepools - ecological preserve. Saltwater lagoon nature preserve
