Small parking area on Terminal Island next to the entrance of the main channel to LA Harbor and its extensive shipping facilities. No public facilities.
Los Angeles Harbor and Long Beach Harbor vie for the claim of "busiest." However, the two together unquestionably are among the busiest shipping ports in the world. Beyond that, L.A. Harbor provides myriad recreational opportunities with fishing, sailing, water sports, nature study (whale watch trips and aquarium), parks and historical destinations.
