Salmon Creek is the most popular surfing location in the area. North Salmon Creek Beach has a narrow parking lot on Highway One and a steep trail down to the beach. The beach ends at Salmon Creek. A Ranger Station is located on Highway One between North and South Salmon Creek Beaches.
