Home of Will Rogers with extensive grounds, including stables, polo fields, picnic areas. A small museum documents the life of cowboy, entertainer and homespun philosopher. Clips are shown of Roger's life, performances and movies. Extensive restoration of the house and furnishings was completed in spring 2006. Open for tours (310-454-8212).
Grounds abutt Topanga State Park and southern trailhead of the Santa Monica Mtns Backbone Trail, and offer both short and long hikes. GPS point taken at entry kiosk.
